Vision Critical Opens Asia HQ in Hong Kong
Panel and research technology specialist Vision Critical has opened an office in Hong Kong, which will form its Asian headquarters. The new office - the firm's eleventh in all worldwide - will be led by Bruce Wells, who joined earlier in the month from Synovate.
The company says Hong Kong provides an ideal location and market from which to expand its Asian business relationships, as well as a focal point for expansion in China. The company's existing operations are in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Wells (pictured) joined the company earlier this month after a ten year career with Synovate. Most recently, he served as the firm's Global CEO Mystery Shopping, prior to which he was Global CEO of Retail and Channel Performance, and Chief Information Officer. Earlier, he was MD Asia Pacific for start-up telecom solution provider ITS, and Technical Marketing Manager (Asia Pacific) for Motorola.
Andrew Reid, founder and CEO of Vision Critical, comments: 'Our Hong Kong headquarters will focus on developing and serving Asian-based clients and partners. We will provide customised technical and research expertise specifically tailored to the needs of our clients and the market.'
