Bizo Raises $10m for B2B Audience Tool
In the US, business audience targeting specialist Bizo has closed a $10m Series B round of equity financing, which it will use to expand its sales and marketing teams while further extending its platform.
San-Francisco-based Bizo anonymously tracks more than 100 million business professionals worldwide, enabling advertisers to reach and engage their audience through analytics, social media engagement and ad targeting solutions. Additionally, the system compiles 'bizographic' demographic data including industry, job function and company size.
Since the company's launch in 2008 by Russell Glass and Yonatan Stern, Bizo has raised $20m of equity and debt financing. The latest round has been led by Crosslink Capital's newest partner David Silverman who joins Bizo's Board of Directors; with support from existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners and Venrock.
