Holden Pearmain Launches OTC Intelligence Service
UK agency Holden Pearmain has launched a new service called OTC Intelligence, for which it will interview more than 30,000 individuals each year about their purchase and use of OTC products in the flu and cold, analgesics and skin sectors.
The Surrey-based firm, which was co-founded by former TNS Deputy MD David Holden, offers a range of qual, quant and advanced analytics services for clients in the pharma and healthcare, B2B, consumer electronics, financial services, media and telecoms sectors.
Holden says OTC Intelligence will combine the cost advantages of syndicated research with 'the type of output one would expect from a customized study' - including the provision of a dedicated brand consultancy and market simulator for each subscribing brand. He adds: 'OTC Intelligence is the only continuous market monitor of the usage and attitudes of OTC medicines.'
The company opened its first pharma research office in New York in 2005. This February it expanded its Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Division with the appointment of senior directors Russell Mills and David White.
