comScore Hires JIC Support Specialist
Online audience specialist comScore has appointed former Microsoft researcher Beth Uyenco as SVP of International Research, to support the firm's initiatives with local market measurement JICs*, including UKOM in the UK.
For the past six years, Uyenco has worked at Microsoft, latterly as Global Research Director of Microsoft Advertising. Prior to this, she worked as US Director of Strategic Research at OMD, managing research support for all broadcast, print and digital buying, as well as primary research; and before this she was SVP, Director of Research at Optimum Media, DDB Worldwide.
Additionally, Uyenco has served as Co-Chair of the IAB Research Council, Chair of the Media Ratings Council's Internet Committee, and US representative for ESOMAR. She has also been involved with the Council for Research Excellence.
In her new role, Uyenco will support comScore's partnership with cross-industry organisation UKOM to deliver online media measurement in the UK, as well as its relationships with STIR in the Netherlands and MESA in Spain. Additionally, Uyenco is responsible for overseeing comScore's research methodologies across international markets.
