Forrester Reports Q1 Revenue and Income Rise
Technology specialist Forrester Research has reported a 7 percent revenue increase to $70.3m for the first quarter of 2012, compared with $65.7m for the prior year period; and net income of $3.2m, up from $2.9m.
For the three months ended 31 March 2012, the firm's Research Services division saw income rise to $49.7m compared with $44.5m in Q1 2011, while its Advisory Services arm reported a drop in income to $20.5m from $21.1m last year.
Chairman and CEO George Colony commented: 'Revenue for the quarter was in line with expectations, while operating margin and earnings per share exceeded guidance. Clients are providing positive feedback regarding the realignment of our sales force and the innovative and differentiated client-facing experiences we're investing in.'
Forrester is anticipating total revenues of approximately $78.5m to $81.5m for the second quarter, and between $308.0m and $316.0m for the full year.
