Analytics Firm Clarity Buys NxGen Consulting
Chicago-based Clarity Solution Group has agreed the purchase of Bay Area-based NxGen Consulting. The deal expands Clarity's presence in the US West and brings it new technology and deeper expertise in data visualization and predictive analytics.
Clarity provides a combination of expert consulting services and software solutions focused on emerging technologies, data integration and customer intelligence. The firm uses advanced analytics to help clients unlock insights from unstructured data and deliver real-time offers. Headquartered in Chicago, it also has locations in Austin, TX, Palatine, IL, and Reston, VA.
NxGen, which was founded by Matthew Feyling and Andy Rizzuto and offers solutions including data visualization services to help clients answer business questions, will formally become Clarity's West Coast Practice, with both Feyling and Rizzuto taking on leadership roles. Meanwhile Clarity will develop a dedicated data visualization practice, tapping the skills of partner firms Tableau, QlikTech and Teradata.
Clarity group CEO John G. Papadia says the two organisations share the same values and vision, and comments: 'Adding complementary solutions from NxGen increases our ability to provide additional depth in data and analytics services our clients ask for.'
Feyling says the move will blend the two companies' capabilities and expertise nationally, adding: Collectively, the team has some of the most talented individuals in the industry leveraging leading-edge technologies and building ground-breaking solutions.'
