Socialbakers Adds YouTube Analytics
Social media monitoring firm Socialbakers has expanded its Analytics PRO technology to enable users to measure their performance across YouTube, as well as Facebook and Twitter.
Launched in 2008, Socialbakers' analytics platform measures the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across all major social networks. After raising $2m in venture capital funding last October, the firm acquired Social RSS, a feed reader app for Facebook, and opened an office in San Francisco.
In April, the firm launched Analytics PRO, to enable clients to identify, engage and track their most important influencers across Facebook and Twitter, while monitoring their competitors. The latest upgrade adds YouTube tracking including online content, competitor activity, key influencers, and the daily growth of views. In addition, the extended service offers a feature to identify how many users are engaged with a specific YouTube channel, and to monitor the number of likes/dislikes received for YouTube videos. Metrics include total amount of time viewed, subscribers, uploaded video views, view rate and number of videos.
CEO Jan Rezab (pictured) comments: 'By adding the YouTube option to Socialbakers' Analytics PRO technology, we've created a cohesive platform with engagement metrics consistently across all three networks. Everyone can measure across these various platforms, however the key difference in what we offer is that our technology is scientifically measuring this data in a completely valid manner.'
