KBM Group Buys Predictys
WPP's data-driven customer insights specialist KBM Group has agreed to acquire Predictys, a company specialising in digital data and campaign technology. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In 2007, WPP aligned its KnowledgeBase Marketing business under the KBM Group brand name, in order to encourage collaboration among its analytics units. These included Advanced Analytics Services, which develops consumer and marketing analytics technology; and Marketing Intelligence Group, which provides digital, social media and statistical analysis capabilities, and predictive modeling and segmentation.
Predictys, based in Grenoble, France, develops software solutions for optimising e-mail marketing campaigns, and offers full-service marketing solutions based on digital data. In addition, the company provides access to a database of more than 140 million opted-in consumers.
KBM Group says the acquisition will strengthen its position in France, while fuelling growth throughout Europe, the US and Latin America.
