SKIM to Expand US Presence
Netherlands-based market research agency SKIM is opening an office in San Francisco in the summer, from which it will service its clients on the US west coast and expand its client roster in the tech, finance and telecoms sectors.
 Founded in 1979, SKIM offers a combination of market-specific expertise, knowledge of advanced research methodologies, and support for pricing, communication and new product development.
The San Francisco operation will be SKIM's fifth location, and adds to its existing presence in Rotterdam, New York, Geneva and London.
It will be led by Directors Joris Huisman and Eline van der Gaast, who are charged with growing the west coast team to support the firm's multinational client base.
Commenting on the launch, van der Gaast said: 'Our growing team will work closely with SKIM's New York office, as well as with our teams in Europe to serve clients on the west coast and worldwide.'
