PSB Hires Indian Government Veteran

WPP-owned market research and political polling network Penn Schoen Berland (PSB) has appointed government bureaucrat Ashok Kapur as Head of its Policy Group for South Asia operations.

Founded in 1975, PSB provides market research-based consultancy services to help corporate, entertainment and political clients hone their messaging and communications strategies. Its South Asia office is located in Gurgaon. Kapur (pictured) joins from the Government of India, where he worked for more than three decades, most recently as Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat.

In his new role, reporting to South Asia MD and CEO Ashwani Singla, Kapur will oversee a team of policy advocacy and government relations specialists. He described his move to PSB as a 'natural progression', which provides him with the opportunity to help business create a dialogue with the government.
