InsightsNow Debuts 'Product Spark'
US-based product innovation specialist InsightsNow has launched a new research approach called 'Product Spark', which it says solves the 'concept to product translation dilemma' when applied at the beginning of an R&D initiative.
Founded in 2003 in Corvallis, Oregon, InsightsNow works with consumer packaged goods companies to help them develop better products. Product Spark forms part of the firm's BehaviorLens portfolio and combines various interactive and immersive research methods with quant techniques, to identify the specific features of a product which deliver the most consumer benefits.
Alec Maki (pictured), VP of BehaviorLens Research at InsightsNow, comments: 'With supermarkets exploding with new products, R&D must move beyond 'liking' as their base for development. To achieve business impact, they must create better, more differentiated products that connect with their consumers - this is exactly what Product Spark promises.'
