ZenithOptimedia Promotes for Data Chief Role
In the US, media services specialist ZenithOptimedia Worldwide has promoted Rob Jayson to the newly created position of Chief Data Officer, with responsibility for the firm's Global Analytics Center (GLANCE).
The agency offers the full spectrum of communications planning and media buying on and off-line, from 250 offices in 74 countries.
Jayson (pictured) joined in 2006 as President - Strategy, with a remit to enhance the firm's communication planning product and incorporate brand, consumer and media research and data sources. In this role, he also formed and led the LIQUID group of strategic planners, tasked with developing approaches to communication planning across the company.
Prior to joining, he spent more than seventeen years at IPG-owned communications agency Initiative, latterly as SVP, Director of Corporate Strategic Resources, helping to develop communication ROI models and tools for a number of key clients.
In his new post, Jayson will expand his role to include leadership of ZenithOptimedia's worldwide data strategy, and management of the firm's ZO Datamart and reporting tools suite.
