Influitive Raises $3.75m for Advocate Platform
Toronto and San Francisco-based customer advocate management specialist Influitive has closed a $3.75m round of seed funding, which it will use to further develop its AdvocateHub platform.
AdvocateHub has been designed to enable marketers to capture the 'enthusiasm' of their best customers, followers and evangelists from social media reviews, customer referrals, case studies and references.
The platform provides advocates with a 'game-like' experience which Influitive says results in a 'significant increase in the quality and quantity of advocate activity'.
The new funding comes from First Round Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, new Enterprise Associates, CommonAngels, Accelerator Ventures, other firms and angel investors. As part of the deal, CommonAngels MD James Geshwiler will join Influitive's Board of Directors.
Influitive co-founder and CEO Mark Organ comments: 'The size and breadth of this seed round of funding far exceeds our expectations. Not only did it include some of the most renowned venture capital firms and individual angel investors, but it also raised funds from both coasts of the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.'
