Revolution Analytics Expands into Asia Pacific

US-based statistical software specialist Revolution Analytics has opened an office in Singapore, through which it plans to offer big data analytics to clients across the Asia Pacific region.

Revolution provides software and support for the open source 'R' statistical computing language, enabling statisticians, scientists and others to create predictive models and derive meaning from large data sets.

The new office will serve as the company's Asia Pacific headquarters for cloud-based big data analytics services.
