ActiveGroup's ClientLounge Becomes The Lobby
US-based ActiveGroup, which provides video streaming to the market research industry, has re-branded its flagship ClientLounge product as 'The Lobby', and revamped it to better assist researchers with the analysis and reporting of their qual data.
Founded in 1999, MVL Group-owned ActiveGroup is headquartered in Atlanta, with additional offices in London and Sofia. The company also has a global network comprising 1200+ permanently installed video streaming rooms in more than 45 countries, through which clients can conduct qual market research initiatives.
Last year, the company partnered with Kantar to provide the research giant with worldwide access to its facilities, and its suite of interactive solutions which includes chat-based interview tools and bulletin/community boards.
With the introduction of The Lobby, ActiveGroup says it provides a user experience similar to that which researchers have become accustomed to with other web-based services, but with a focus on qual data.
Clients are given one user name and password to access all their live and on-demand content, with all the researcher's historic and current content accessible directly from the user account. Through the system, researchers can also share content with clients and their colleagues.
President and founder David Nelems comments: 'The Lobby offers us a new foundation upon which to build a whole host of new services. Future updates will bring in more tools to assist researchers in analyzing and reporting on their qualitative data, and we envision The Lobby will be the ecosystem for researchers to analyze and report on all of their facility-based, online, and mobile research.'
