Healthcare Agency medpirica Opens in Berlin

In Germany, Michael Siewert and Mark Schöne have set up a full service healthcare market research agency called medpirica in Berlin.

Siewert previously held senior roles with I + G, and IGES; while Schöne worked for Berlin-Chemie, YouGovPsychonomics, and AOK-Consult.

Their firm uses a combination of qual and quant techniques for clients in the pharmaceutical, medical and health insurance sectors. These include studying the motives, perceptions and barriers in the management of disease; continuously monitoring the effects of market regulation and price changes; and consumer uptake. In addition, the company studies the behaviour of target groups in the use of counseling and care services.
