Health Care DataWorks Names Kamal as President

Healthcare analytics firm Health Care DataWorks (HCD) has appointed co-founder Jyoti Kamal as President, to help guide direction of the firm's KnowledgeEdge product suite, and develop business intelligence roadmaps for clients.

HCD's KnowledgeEdge offers an enterprise data model, analytics dashboards, applications, and reports, to enable hospitals and health systems to gain insights into their businesses.

Kamal, (pictured) has more than 15 years' experience as a healthcare IT executive, and is one of the developers of the KnowledgeEdge technology. She was previously Deputy CIO and Director for the Information Warehouse at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, which includes six hospitals, a physician practice, and more than a dozen research centers and institutes.
