Market Probe Hires Marks to Head St Louis Ops
In the US, full-service agency Market Probe has appointed industry veteran Steven Marks to lead its St Louis-based operations.
The firm has its headquarters in Milwaukee, WI, with offices throughout the US and in Canada, plus nine countries in Europe and Asia.
Marks (pictured), who joins with more than 30 years' research and management experience, most recently ran his own consulting group, SIM Research Strategies. Prior to this, he served as VP at deKadt Marketing & Research, Phoenix Marketing International and Lightspeed Research. Earlier, he established the Internet research practices for Synovate and Response Analyse (now part of GfK), and he also worked clientside at AT&T and Deloitte and Touche. He began his career with Opinion Research Corporation.
In his new role, Marks' focus will be on the identification and subsequent translation of new technological and methodological approaches. He will also be tasked with establishing best practices for Internet panel research, and the development of methods to link contextual analysis of social media with attitudinal and behavioral data.
