Protobrand Extends Image Tool to Smartphones
In the US, research and branding firm Protobrand has used Research Now Mobile's platform to launch a smartphone version of its Meta4 Insight tool, which probes the unconscious mind using 'metaphor elicitation'.
Meta4 Insight is used to tap into consumers' deep-seated perceptions and goals, using a proprietary image database to encourage non-literal thinking and to reveal people's unconscious minds. Protobrand says that by transferring its tool on to the Research Now Mobile platform, it is able to further develop its offering for the needs of mobile marketers.
CEO Phil Granof comments: 'Mobile research methods are a growing tool for marketing professionals, as they realize that traditional methods of data collection often occur too far in time and place from actual consumption. Now with Meta4 Mobile, our proprietary method for uncovering human emotion can be put into the field all along a shopper's journey.'
