SSI Hires Gartner Veteran Tom Johnson

Data collection and sampling solutions specialist SSI has appointed former Gartner VP Tom Johnson as Senior Vice President of North American Sales and Client Services.

SSI reaches respondents in 72 countries via Internet, telephone, mobile and mixed access offerings; and offers questionnaire design consultation, programming and hosting, data processing and real-time reporting.

Johnson (pictured) joins after fifteen years at Gartner, where he most recently held the role of Group VP, North American Consulting. Prior to this he was Gartner's Group VP Strategy Account Channels, and led the firm's Global Sales Operations team. Earlier in his career, Johnson worked at Advanced Digital Information Corporation as Regional Sales Manager, and at the Columbia Institute in Washington DC.
