More Dough for Socialbakers
Social media monitoring firm Socialbakers has won another $6m in funding, which CEO Jan Rezab says will be used to continue product development.
 The round was led by Index Ventures, joined by existing investor Earlybird Venture Capital.
Socialbakers offers competitive intelligence and social media benchmarking, measurement, statistics and brand performance metrics, and says it monitors ten million social media corporate profiles. The firm has expanded rapidly over the last two years, opening new offices in Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Dubai and Istanbul. It already has bases in Prague, London, Munich, Paris and San Francisco and now boasts more than 160 employees worldwide.
