TNS BMRB Opens International Development Centre
In London, specialist social research division TNS BMRB has opened a 'Centre for International Development Research', which will draw on methodological expertise from across the group in order to help clients bring about policy change on an international level.
Earlier this year, the division was appointed to the roster of research agencies for the Department for International Development, and the new centre will meet these agencies' needs by working collaboratively with TNS's pan-global teams and closely with the social research team at TNS Africa.
The centre will be led Desiree Lopez (pictured), who recently joined as Head of Qualitative Research.
Melissa Baker, who leads social research across TNS Africa and the Middle East, says: 'We have been working for many years on social research in Africa, to help meet challenges such as poverty reduction, health and agriculture. The centre will give a new focus for our already strong partnership with TNS BMRB, to bring TNS's immense expertise to bear to bring maximum benefit to our clients.'
