Terapeak Opens eBay Sales Data to Android Users
e-commerce research and analytics firm Terapeak has launched an Android app providing mobile pricing and demand research for online merchants.
The app is a free add-on to any paid subscription to Terapeak - which is the sole authorized global re-licensor of eBay data - and promises 'entrepreneurs' easier and faster access to market intelligence.
Android users can already use eBay's own apps to list and sell products from a mobile device. The new tool displays 90 days of eBay closed listing data, along with average pricing, sell-through rate information and extensive picture references - and allows mobile users access with one touch. Aside from saving time and money, Terapeak says the real-time view and performance comparison features remove the risk of users buying 'dud' or 'dead' inventory.
President and CEO Kevin North says the launch is a response to the growing popularity of Android and many requests from customers, the corresponding iPhone app having been available for some years.
The firm is online at www.terapeak.com .
