CrawfordBrown and RAPP Merge
In Australia, marketing and ad network DDB Group Melbourne has integrated its boutique comms agency CrawfordBrown Plus with its below-the-line specialist RAPP Melbourne, and re-launched the merged business as a data and analytics firm with a focus on customer insight.
CrawfordBrown was set up last year by Omnicom-owned DDB Group Melbourne. As part of the merger, David Brown (pictured) will run the combined initiative as MD, while RAPP Melbourne's MD Tess Doughty becomes Managing Partner.
The merger will also see CrawfordBrown's ten staff - including Creative Director Steve Crawford - join RAPP Melbourne.
Brown comments: 'The new RAPP Melbourne takes the best of both businesses and packages them into a strong data driven integrated agency offering with senior firepower. Whilst data will be at the heart of everything we do it still needs to be expressed creatively and that will be an integral part of our vision going forward.'
