Ipsos Names Head of S.A. Marketing Biz Unit

In South Africa, Ipsos has named Nick Coates Head of its Marketing Business Unit, which includes qual research, market understanding and metrics, and innovation and forecasting business units. He takes up the role next month.

For the past three years, Coates (pictured) has been Deputy MD of Ipsos Russia. Prior to this, he spent nine years at Research International, where he latterly served as Client Services Director - ICT & Financial Services in Cape Town, and managed the regional office. He began his career as a Management Consultant with System 21 in the UK.
