Millward Brown Hires Wyner and Packo

Millward Brown has this week announced the addition of two executives to its North American staff. Gordon Wyner joins as the new executive vice president of North American strategy, and Mary Ann Packo joins as executive vice president, chief client and marketing officer.

Gordon Wyner will consult with Millward Brown clients, lead the strategic product development, and manage the company's marketing sciences team in North America. He will also serve as the primary North American liaison with Nigel Hollis, who heads up strategy and product development for Millward Brown on a world-wide basis.

Prior to his appointment at Millward Brown, Wyner held the position of vice president of the customer strategy team for Mercer Management Consulting. Previously, he headed the advanced analysis and new product development teams at M/A/R/C. Wyner is a frequent contributor to major marketing and research publications and currently serves as chairman of the executive committee of the Marketing Science Institute, an organisation of leading marketers and academics.

Mary Ann Packo will be responsible for Millward Brown client service and business development activities in the US. In addition, she will lead the company's North American marketing efforts. Packo comes to Millward Brown with over 20 years of experience in marketing, media research, digital media and information services.

Prior to joining Millward Brown, Packo was president of Media Metrix and group president of its successor company, Jupiter Media Metrix. She has also worked internationally as executive director of Ipsos-NFO Europe in Paris and as division president at NPD Canada. In addition, she served as marketing vice president of NFO Worldwide and president/co-founder of their National Yellow Pages Monitor business unit.
