Aggregate Knowledge Buys Behavior Analyst Quantivo
US media intelligence specialist Aggregate Knowledge (AK) has acquired customer behavior analytics specialist Quantivo for an undisclosed sum.
Quantivo has developed an analytics solution for use in marketing optimization, web analytics or behavioral analytics programs. A tool named Behavioral Analytics promises a view of customer behavior across multiple data sources, while the Web Analytics solution determines how a customer's online session translates to off-line behavior by using cross-channel and multi-web site analytics.
Through the acquisition, AK says marketers will have access to the additional insights necessary to identify the best, highest-value customers, and pinpoint them with greater accuracy. In addition, the integration of Quantivo's Data Science and Engineering teams will 'accelerate platform innovation'.
AK CEO David Jakubowski (pictured) comments: 'Quantivo has proven itself across key verticals, including retail, communications, manufacturing and finance. The team are experts in point-of-sale data and analytics, and will extend AK's ability to bridge the gap between offline and online data.'
