Vision Critical Names New CFO
Panel and research technology specialist Vision Critical has named Donna de Winter as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Gord Baizley who has moved into the role of Chief Strategy Officer after seven years with the firm.
de Winter joins with a background in the technology sector. Most recently, she served as CFO at incentive compensation and sales performance management software company Varicent, leading its sale to IBM. Prior to this, she held both CFO and CEO positions at corporate training provider Nexient Learning, and financial roles at tech companies such as GEAC Computer Corporation, Platform Computing Corporation, Digital Processing Systems and Polyphalt.
In her new position, in addition to managing all areas of finance, accounting, infrastructure and stakeholder relations, de Winter joins the firm's management team and will participate in developing its growth strategy.

Having joined Vision Critical as CFO in 2005, Baizley now takes on responsibility for helping set and guide corporate strategy, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, competitive intelligence, strategic alliances and product partnerships. Before joining the firm, he was a Lawyer at Bull, Housser & Tupper, and an Investment Banking Associate at Forum Capital Partners.
