Cloudpoint Buys BI Firm Altius
Business information specialist Cloudpoint has acquired business intelligence (BI) and performance management company Altius Consulting for an undisclosed sum.
 Cloudpoint says the acquisition expands its BI advisory services, while providing access to an experienced team of BI consultants.
Simon Goldsmith, a Director of Cloudpoint, will succeed John Gateley as MD of the Altius Consulting businesses both in the UK and Channel Islands. However, Altius Consulting's US subsidiary, Altius Consulting, Inc. was not included in the deal and Gateley will continue to focus his efforts on the US business.
