CfMC Names New CEO
In the US, CfMC Research Software has appointed Mary McDougall as President and Chief Executive Officer, replacing Danny Wong, who will remain on the leadership team as Chief Technology Officer and an active member of the Board.
 Founded in 1967, San Francisco-based CfMC (Computers for Marketing Corporation) introduced the first computerized tabulation program, and now offers CATI and CAPI software Survent, and webCATI and webSuper tools.
McDougall (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' experience gained in business management, executive leadership, strategic planning and operational roles. Most recently she worked at BMC Software, where she led the transformation from a traditional software developer to a software-as-a-service provider. Before joining BMC in 2004, she founded Ironspire and helped grow two other software ventures.
In a statement, the firm said: 'Adding Mary to the team and shifting Danny Wong's focus to R&D-related tasks positions enables CfMC to more effectively bring new capabilities to market and build on the foundation of excellence delivered to clients over the years.'
