China Opening for BDRC
UK-based BDRC Group has added a China office to its existing overseas locations in Singapore and Sydney. Based in Beijing, the new office will be led by former B2B International China Deputy GM Siew Wong.
 The group includes UK firms BDRC Continental, Perspective Research Services and ESA Retail, plus BDRC Asia and BDRC Jones Donald in Australia.
Wong, who first worked with the BDRC Group over ten years ago, brings to the role more than twelve years' experience of B2B business consultancy, including work in the financial services, hospitality, telecoms, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals sectors.
The Group says BDRC China will enable it to 'maximize the opportunity presented by the country's growing economy' and will immediately offer some of its existing products including its global hotel and hospitality product suite. It will also be able to manage pan-Asian projects for its other specialist areas including its Media and Financial and Business practices.
CEO Dr Cris Tarrant CEO says experience from the country already shows there is 'considerable demand' for its business consultancy services from both local and international companies. He adds: 'Siew has unrivalled knowledge of the Chinese market and working closely with Piers Lee, MD in Singapore, I am confident they represent a formidable team for us in Asia.'
