Quantcast Expands to Europe with Dublin Launch
San Francisco-based audience measurement and digital advertising firm Quantcast has opened a new EMEA Operations Centre in Dublin, Ireland, to support the expansion of the firm's advertising business across Europe.
Quantcast provides web site owners with traffic, demographic, lifestyle, business and geographic audience data, to help them understand and profile their best customers, and target similar prospects across the web. Last month, the firm secured a further $8m in funding, bringing the total raised to around $61.2m since its launch in 2006 by co-founders Konrad Feldman and Paul Sutter.
The company's new EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Operations Centre - which will create 100 new jobs over the next two years - will provide support for account management, product operations, marketing and finance.
Feldman (pictured) comments: 'A combination of our clients' desires to expand their advertising campaigns to more counties and the tremendous new business opportunity afforded in Europe and beyond guided this move. We chose Dublin due to the city's concentration of world-leading technology and digital media companies, outstanding local talent pool, and easy accessibility to Europe's major markets.'
