Demar to Lead Ipsos InnoQuest and MarketQuest
Lauren Demar has been promoted to the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer, with responsibility for two Ipsos Marketing divisions: InnoQuest and MarketQuest.
Ipsos Marketing, which focuses on helping clients identify business opportunities, innovate and position their brands, contributed nearly 50% of revenues to the parent company's EUR 1.4 billion revenue in 2011.
Its rebranded MarketQuest division was formerly known as MUM - Market Understanding and Measurement. The unit offers specialist services including market entry strategy from Ipsos Business Consulting, footfall analysis from Ipsos Retail Performance, and forecasting and brand optimisation from Ipsos MMA.
Demar (pictured) currently serves as Global CEO of forecasting specialist InnoQuest, and will retain this role in addition to her new responsibilities. Prior to joining the company in 2002, she was a Senior Marketing Executive at Unilever, where she worked for eleven years, before which she was a member of the Brand Management team at Kraft.
In her new position, she will continue to report to Pierre Le Manh, who has retained his role as Global CEO of Ipsos Marketing, in addition to his recently announced promotion to CEO of Ipsos in North America.
The two other global Ipsos Marketing practices, Ipsos UU (Qualitative) and Ipsos Healthcare, are still led respectively by Jacquie Matthews and Michael Spedding, who both continue to report directly to Le Manh.
