Instant Poll Product Launched
MR technology company Zipinion has released a crowdsourced polling application, promising '100 objective opinions sourced from a pool of over 500,000 people' within 'just minutes' of uploading a DIY online survey.
The service is billed as a quick way of testing new logos or online ad wordings, political mailer wordings and company slogans, product packaging and even tweets, before committing to them. The firm promotes the package on a low-cost, 'why not' basis with light hearted suggestions on sample uses, such as this for tweets and social media updates: 'The reputation of a billion dollar company is in the hands of a twenty-three year old 'Social Media Coordinator'. Take five minutes and get the opinion of some grownups before you press send.' Similarly, packages offering 10, 25 or 100 polls and pricing them from $20 down to $15 are branded as 'Crawler', 'Baller' and 'Banger'.
GM / Partner Michael Gualano says current business decisions are often 'bounced around the office between friends and colleagues for feedback' but can therefore be 'biased and subjective'. He continues: 'We're excited to bring a low cost objective solution that will literally reinvent how decisions are being made.'
