Rentrak Extends Digital Download Essentials

Multi-screen measurement firm Rentrak has partnered with SintecMedia to integrate a performance tracking and revenue management solution for TV and movies into its Digital Download Essentials service.

SintecMedia, which offers management solutions for broadcasters, media companies and station groups, has developed a solution called 'Medea on Demand'. This will now be used with Rentrak's Internet video-on-demand measurement service, Digital Download Essentials, to provide movie studios and TV networks with a solution to track performance and manage payments for transactional content delivered via online, video-on-demand or mobile platforms.
