Ipsos Rolls Out Tumor-Specific Oncology Monitor
In Canada, Ipsos Healthcare has rolled out a tumor-specific oncology monitor focusing on non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), planned as the first in a series of syndicated, cancer-specific monitors.
The Canadian NSCLC Monitor will cover all lines of NSCLC across all provinces, it will enable clients to understand and track actual treatment patterns across the country. Ipsos says oncology is the single largest therapy area within its Healthcare division, and this study will complement its existing Global Oncology Monitor, which spans the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Mark Scazafave, SVP of the Oncology Monitor in the Americas, comments: 'With the exception of non-melanoma skin cancer, the most common types of cancer in Canada are lung, prostate, breast and colorectal cancers; these will be our focus moving forward - starting with NSCLC. The Canadian NSCLC Monitor, together with the forthcoming monitors, will enable us to answer a myriad of questions about the oncology market across Canada.'
