Insight Focus Hires Two from Added Value
Shangahi-based qual and quant agency Insight Focus has appointed two former employees of WPP's brand development and insight consultancy Added Value - Alvin Huen as General Manager in the General China Region, and Isabella Chan as a Director.
Insight Focus, which also has operations in Hong Kong, focuses on B2B research; customer experience and loyalty studies; and branding, communications and innovation research. The firm also offers access to panels across a number of sectors including IT/technology, finance and automotive, and has recently strengthened its healthcare panel.
Huen (pictured) joins with fifteen years' market research experience in Greater China. For the past two years he was a Director at Added Value, prior to which he spent ten years at Nielsen in China and Hong Kong, where he latterly served as Director, Consumer Research.
Chan also joins from Added Value, where she served as Project Director for the past year, before which she worked as Consumer Insights Manager at Omnicom Media Group, and a Senior Project Manager at Penn, Schoen & Berland.
Commenting on Chan's appointment, Huen said: 'Having spent much of her time across the globe in Hong Kong, Singapore, the UK and Canada, Isa's international experience will add unique value to our clients and the team she will be building for Insight Focus.'
