Gaucher Named MD of Kantar's Ad Intelligence Europe
In France, Denis Gaucher has been promoted to the position of Managing Director Europe for Kantar Media's recently formed Ad Intelligence arm.
The Global Ad Intelligence division, which was established last month, offers a network of ad monitoring services, providing data and insights from countries and regions across the globe, including the US, Europe, China, Latin America and Russia.
Gaucher (pictured) takes up the new role having previously served as MD of WPP-owned Kantar Media and KantarMusic, and as Global CIO of Kantar Media. Prior to WPP's takeover of TNS, he worked there for sixteen years, latterly serving as Global CIO.
He will now report to New York-based Terry Kent, who is the division's Global CEO Ad Intelligence.
Commenting on the aims of the new division, Gaucher said: 'In 2013, our priority is to strengthen our digital dimension and to enrich our digital media product offering - with the acquisition of AdGooroo, the launch of a new service for tracking online advertising videos, the launch of a new paid search product, and the latest brand publicity trend analysis. This is an excellent opportunity that is going to allow us to pool our expertise and provide proactive monitoring of the worldwide advertising scene.'
