SymphonyIRI Returns to Old Name
In the US, the company known for the last three years as SymphonyIRI is now once again just IRI (Information Resources Inc.).
 Symphony Technology Group bought IRI in 2003 and added its name in 2010 with the suggestion that the old name had been 'in some ways confining'.
President and CEO Andrew Appel (pictured) now comments: 'Our rebranding signifies our promise to continue providing ingenious solutions and capabilities for our clients to enable growth in a highly fragmented, competitive and complex market. We are well positioned to be the catalyst that enables CPG and retail companies to take advantage of new opportunities.'
