Tobii Unwraps UX Bundle
Eye tracking technology specialist Tobii has introduced a usability testing package called Tobii UX Live, which combines hardware, software, education and support.
The new solution has been designed to help web developers see exactly what the user is looking at when they navigate around a site, and understand, for instance, why users did not see a specific button or link. Tobii says this will enable them to make sites more user-friendly, improve conversion rates, and achieve greater sales.
Tobii UX Live includes Tobii's X2 Eye Tracker hardware, which can be used with laptops, monitors, tablets and mobile phones to track and record user eye movements; the company's Studio Live Edition, which offers live viewing capability to assess users' experiences in real-time; and training in the form of step-by-step video tutorials and support from Tobii's Analysis teams around the globe.
Barbara Barclay (pictured), General Manager of Tobii North America, comments: 'One of the greatest benefits of the Tobii UX Live Solution is that you can draw objective conclusions during live testing with just a few participants, providing a very fast and simple way to do testing. Designers can test early and often throughout the development process, saving time and money. And ultimately, creative harmony is easier to achieve because decisions are based on eye tracking evidence.'
