SSI Hires AsiaPac Leaders
Data collection and sampling solutions firm SSI has appointed Max Weber as Managing Director, Asia Pacific, and Satoshi Komatsuzaki as Country Manager for Japan.
SSI reaches respondents in 78 countries via Internet, telephone, mobile/wireless and mixed-access offerings. It also offers consultancy on questionnaire design, programming and hosting, online custom reporting and data processing.
Weber joins from Millward Brown, where he led the Zurich office in Switzerland. Prior to this he served as VP, Asia Pacific for Marketbeat Research, establishing joint ventures in China and partnerships in India; and he was Practice Lead Communications at Accenture, and Commercial Director at Logica.

Komatsuzaki most recently served as Director of Consumer Research at Nielsen in Tokyo, where he also headed the Shopper Practice Team across the APMEA region. Earlier, he was an Account Director at Japan Kantar Research, and Deputy General Manager at Tokyo Survey Research. He began his career at Infoplan.
