ClickTale Gets $17m to Expand In-Page Analytics
Israeli web user experience specialist ClickTale has secured a $17m Series B round of investment, which it will use to fund product development and accelerate its global growth.
Unlike 'traditional' web analytics which only track page-to-page navigation, ClickTale records and analyzes 'all' user experience - including every mouse move, click, hover and scroll - taking place inside the page. The firm's 'ClickTale Core' provides anonymous playback of user browsing sessions, aggregated heatmaps of in-page activity, and tools to increase form completion and optimize conversions.
Last summer, the firm launched a solution to enable clients to view how their customers are navigating sites on mobile devices.
New funding has been led by European technology investor Amadeus Capital Partners, with support from Goldrock Capital and Viola Credit.
CEO and co-founder Tal Schwartz (pictured) comments: 'The support of our founding investor, YL Ventures, has been a major factor in our success to date. This investment will enable us to broaden our product offerings, invest in R&D and expand our operations globally.'
