'Social Radar' Tuned Again
Infegy, the company behind online conversation analysis tool Social Radar, has announced a 'ground-breaking' update to the tool, including a more detailed and accurate analysis of demographics such as household income.
Via the 'Labs' section of the tool, users now get access to distribution information for US household income, home ownership versus rental, education levels, race, household value and average household size. Demographic data is obtained by correlating data sources with low-level United States census reports.
Other new features include age distribution, and hourly and weekday filtering. The latter can be used for example to analyze discussion of entire seasons of TV programs, but focus on comments during hours when shows actually aired.
CEO Justin Graves comments: 'As Social Radar has continued to advance in functionality for market research, demographic data has been in strong demand. We're excited to launch this new information to quicken delivery of deep consumer insight while simultaneously reducing cost for yet another facet of research.'
Two years ago, Infegy partnered with ORC International, allowing the latter to launch 'Social Analytics Solutions', a new service integrating social listening technology with hands-on analysis.
