imagoo Raises $1.2m for Polling App

Las Vegas-based tech startup imagoo has raised $1.2m in angel funding, for use in rolling out its real-time social polling iPhone app and web platform - also called imagoo.

Launched last year by Mickey Hernandez (pictured), the app gives businesses real-time customer insight from poll followers and other users on the network, and individuals a platform through which to compare items, debate politics, challenge rival sports fans, and get advice on purchasing decisions.

Hernandez comments: 'It's human nature for people to believe their opinions and possessions are best. imagoo lets users test that assumption instantly through the unbiased opinions of others. We saw an opportunity to take the need to prove yourself among your peers and turned it into something much bigger.'
