4As Establishes Data Advisory Council
Ad industry association the 4As has set up a 'Data Advisory Council' (DAC), comprising a group of data and analytics professionals who are tasked with helping formulate education initiatives and guidance for member agencies.
Founded in 1917, the 4A's membership comprises most of the large, multinational agencies and hundreds of small and mid-sized agencies from across the US.
President and CEO Nancy Hill (pictured) said the DAC's goal is to assemble business leaders who are currently using data, and with their help, to educate, inform and 'elevate' conversations around data usage in the marketing industry. 'I am excited to be a part of this initiative as we are in the early days of big data application and the 4A's is well-positioned to deliver guidance and leadership on these matters,' she added.
Members of the 4A's DAC include:

The DAC's first project will be to help put together the program for 4As conference on data, scheduled for October 2013 in New York.
