CoreLogic Buys Property Analytics Firm DataQuick

California-based residential property information and analytics provider CoreLogic has acquired several brands owned by the Decision Insight Information Group (DIIG) including property data and analytics firm DataQuick. The total purchase price was $661m.

Anand NallathambiDataQuick supplies real estate data, analytics and business solutions to mortgage providers and servicers, investors, real estate professionals and the public sector. Using a database of more than 120 million US residential properties, DataQuick provides customized analytical solutions, credit reporting, property valuation and automated decision software.

As part of the deal, CoreLogic has also acquired property valuation services firm; Marshall & Swift/Boeckh (MSB); and the credit and flood services operations of DataQuick Lender Solutions.

In addition to the obvious financial benefits and cost synergies, the combination of CoreLogic, MSB and DataQuick should yield significant future growth opportunities through the introduction of new products, services and workflow tools which draw from a wide range of gold-standard data assets and analytical capabilities.'

Earlier this year, CoreLogic acquired home price monitoring firm Case-Shiller in a deal valued at $6m.
