Toluna Debuts Diary App
Toluna has launched an app, TolunaMobile Diary, which gathers feedback on consumer activities in real-time.
The firm says the Diary app is available for Apple and Android phones and tablets, and can be used for a variety of diary, experience, tracking and real-time studies across diverse topics in native languages in the US, Mexico and the BRIC countries. Features include geolocation, flexible presentation of questions and responses, uploading of images, a UPC barcode scanner, and automatic prompts for users to enter information at specific locations and events.
VP of Group Product Marketing Carol Haney (pictured) says the app 'stands out in at least two novel ways: it empowers consumers to provide feedback at any time of the day at their convenience; and it rewards them on-the-spot for their effort through incentives, coupons, and the like.' She adds: 'Together, this will increase the accuracy and speed of data collection, analysis, and insight generation for marketers, brands, and others that value timely consumer feedback.'
Toluna has eighteen offices in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. The company's survey technology suite allows users to create online and mobile surveys, manage panels and build their own online communities, and products include PanelPortal Online Communities, Toluna QuickSurveys and the recently launched sampling tool SmartSelect.
