Euromonitor Launches Modelling Hub
Euromonitor International has launched a Centre for Analytics, Modelling and Innovation (CAMI), led by Marius Dundulis and combining its quant research expertise with capabilities for modelling, innovative data exploration and visualization.
The firm describes CAMI as a cross industry resource developed by an in house team of PhDs, and says it will meet demand for modelling-driven insights on business strategy and analysis of key concepts which are 'nearly impossible to grasp by ordinary research methods'.
Dundulis, Director of CAMI, comments: 'Euromonitor International's Passport database has more than 115 million internationally comparable statistics and we needed to look for new ways of making sense of that data. A technological and conceptual leap was needed to unleash the full power of this information, which is why we created CAMI.' He adds: 'We strove to create a framework for clients to analyse real world changes in a safe 'lab' environment where they can simulate economic or business events and explore the effects before taking any actions in the real world.'
CAMI already has its first product, a Macro Model allowing users 'at a click of a button' to explore the impact of macroeconomic events across various geographies and indicators. Following soon are a Commodity Prices Model, Dynamic Patterns Explorer, a Competitor Analytics Board, an Income and Wealth Segmentation Tool and a Future Demographics Applet.
Online at www.euromonitor.com , Euromonitor International is headquartered in London, with ten regional offices spanning six continents.
