[x+1] Buys Mobile Analytics Firm WDA
New York-based online audience targeting firm [x+1] has acquired mobile media, marketing and analytics technology specialist WDA. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
WDA's technology suite is used for mobile media buying, mobile analytics, app tracking and analysis, and for social media marketing. It will now be fully integrated into [x+1]'s Origin data management platform, to enable clients to identify, reach and react to their target audiences across multiple devices.
Following the acquisition, the WDA team will remain headquartered in East Lansing, Michigan. Founder and President Konny Zsigo (pictured) comments: 'We've spent many years developing our platform and features to meet the evolving requirements of the mobile market. That work, the relationships that have come of it and the value we've provided to a broad range of clients led [x+1] to
seek us out as they sought to create a comprehensive mobile strategy.'
Earlier this year, [x+1] acquired tag management company UberTags, enhancing Origin with the addition of web site tags, analytics, and retargeting and marketing conversion tracking.
