PageWoo Launches 'Hyper-Local' Ad Targeting
Mobile ad tech firm PageWoo has launched a solution called 'NewWoo', which layers consumer psychographics on top of hyper-local big data, to enable companies to target consumers with personalized ads and messages.
Founded last year by husband-and-wife team Jason Crilly and Holden Steinberg, Pagewoo has so far raised $500k from several LA-based angels including Applied Semantics founder Eytan Elbaz. Their firm uses big data combined with location-based technology including geofencing to create market segments for targeted content.
NewWoo allows users to target consumers within any geographical location, by interests, psychographics and buying patterns, and includes access to content creation and campaign measurement apps.
Crilly (pictured) comments: 'Mobile advertising doesn't work without location. Location is the new cookie in mobile ads and PageWoo is currently seeing the pay-off upward of 50% growth since we've launched.'
